CHAPTER 14: Website Users Guide
Roster Management
The Club Resources page of the web site is designed to be the starting point for the club advisors.
Resources you need will be posted here. Sections of note include:
A. Advisor Login System: use this area to log in to the online registration system. There you can
administer your club’s roster, nominate your students for office, and generally maintain your
information. If you have trouble logging in try theses things first: be sure to CAPITALIZE the first
letter of your password, make sure that cookies are enabled, and that session cookies are enabled .
If you forget your login combination enter the e-mail address that we have on file for you and the
site will send your username and password.
WARNING: do not give your username/password to a delegate. A student may do the club’s data
entry but only after you have logged them in and only if you are physically present while they are in
the system.
B. Search the Web Site: If you cannot find it easily on the website, try using the Google Site Search.
This will search for keywords on our web site only.
C. Civics Education Lesson Plans: While we would like to develop a comprehensive Y&G
curriculum in the future, for now we have linked a few interesting civics education web sites. Use
them to break up the routine of your weekly meetings and to give the students a broader base of
understanding about civics & government.
